Here's a little system for getting the line that you
need. Skip the owners manual and the line chart and remember, it doesn't matter
if its the left or right side of the glider because they are the same. (pictures
forthcoming)
1-Is it a brake, A, B, C, or D?
2-is the line connected to the glider(upper line)?
Riser(lower line)? Neither(middle line)?
(upper line) (lower line)
Note: middle lines don't connect to the riser and don't connect to the glider. They are "in the middle."
3-how many lines is it if you count from the wing
tip? How many lines is it if you count from the center of the glider?
(stabilo)
-if it is connected to the extreme wing tip; is it the foremost (toward the leading edge), aft most (toward the trailing edge) or is it in the middle? (in the picture, their are four lines on the stabilo<count: "second from tip" etc.>)
4-What color is it? (we can't always match the color but we
can try).
So, a line order would go something like this( a few
examples);
"Brake, upper, tenth from tip and second from
center, red"
"A, lower, centermost, blue"
"Stabilo, foremost, yellow"
"Brake, middle, outermost, blue"
With any luck, this will ensure that you get the line that you need. Remember to follow the system. If you land, notice a line that needs replacement and make a quick note about it's position, you ought to be able to receive a replacement line in a few days. The tolerance for a paraglider line is 1 cm.
Note: If you want to give us a good laugh, then insert the word "cascade" intermittently in your line orders.
Send line orders to: info@4superfly.com lines are normally $15 each plus shipping, usually US mail. Sometimes your replacement line will not match the color of your original line.
