We operate at the world-famous "Point of the Mountain" in Draper, Utah. The Point is just half an hour south of the Salt Lake City Intl. Airport. Our training site is one of the most consistent in the country. What does that mean? It means that you'll be flying consistently, not sitting around getting grumpy, waiting for bad weather to pass. You'll be taking your first flights, soaring and working on the finer points of paragliding in short order--and making the most of your valuable time. (If you can't travel to Utah, let us know where you are and when you want to get started. We have excellent associate instructors throughout the continent, some of which can travel to you. We'll work it out.)
We teach all year round at The Point, but you can expect the weather to be its nicest between April and October. You can begin your lessons whenever you choose. Most people coming in from out of town schedule a four- or five-day visit, returning at a later date for a few more lessons to complete the process and earn their wings.
We're happy to recommend lodging options. Accommodation is available in every range. You can camp for free at the Point, rent a guest room from a local pilot, or enjoy the finest resorts in Utah--it's all available, and it's all in our neighborhood.
